I have had a lifelong love affair with

craft and beautiful objects.

As well as designing and building furniture and cabinetry, I have found a passion in knives. Designing new knives, creating handles for new blades, and replacing handles on old and well loved pieces. I also provides a knife sharpening service at the Clevedon Village Farmers Market on Sunday mornings as well as from home.

Knives

Choosing a knife is entirely personal.

The considerations are: weight and balance in hand, size, predicted uses, shape, beauty, level of care required, likely conditions in the kitchen (number of likely users and their commitment to looking after your knife), price.

It is possible to spend many hundreds or even thousands of dollars on a handcrafted Knife.

Having been a craftsman all my life, I worship beautiful workmanship in any endeavour, however in its essence a knife is a very simple object employed for the most basic of uses, cutting stuff up.

I offer knives that range in price but offer really good quality.
