Chef's Knife Narrow Blade 150mm
Small chef’s knife a perfect multi purpose blade and for all work that doesn’t require a big knife or for detail work.
Small to medium knives (150 - 185mm blade lengths) happily clean up 90% of kitchen jobs with ease. Some jobs you need to have a large knife, but it’s amazing how friendly the medium sized knives are for most work.
I refer to the particular handle design of this knife as a ‘Lux’ handle.
This is a hidden tang knife meaning the steel part of the blade which forms the handle is a long tapered extension of the blade which is embedded in the handle. This form of tang has been around for as long as knives. It is a little lighter and has a different feel than a full tang knife.

The main part of the handle is Kowhai, the ferrule where the handle joins the blade is Tawa.
The steel is Nitro V stainless steel hardened at 62 HRC.
This level of hardness gives the knife very good edge retention but allows it’s edge to be maintained with a Honing Steel.
